Arturo Rodriguez Fernandez (born 1948) is an author, film critic, and playwright.
Born in Santo Domigno, he attended high school in Spain, and went on to receive degrees in law from National University Pedro Henríquez Ureña and from universities in Strasbourg, France and Italy. He has received over thirty national and international literary awards. Fernandez is currently the Santo Domingo Ministry of Culture's Film Commissioner [es icon cite web|title=Dirección Nacional de Cine|publisher=Government of the Dominican Republic|date=2008-08-29|url=http://www.cultura.gob.do/Dependencias/DespachodelSecretariodeEstadodeCultura/tabid/246/Default.aspx?PageContentID=6|accessdate=2008-08-29] , produces a daily radio show covering cinema, and is a journalist for the newsmagazine "Hoy".
