The 6'10" left-hander was the second pick in the by|2005Rule 5 Draft , taken by the Royals from theChicago Cubs organization. With his height, he is tied withChris Young of theSan Diego Padres andRandy Johnson of theArizona Diamondbacks for the 2nd tallest player inbaseball history . The tallest pitcher in baseball history is Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher, Jon Rauch, who is 6'11.Sisco was the Cubs' second-round pick in the by|2001 draft. A starter in the minors, he was 4-10 with a 4.21 ERA in Class A in by|2004. The Royals have, to date, used him as a
relief pitcher . Under the terms of Rule 5, Sisco remained on the Royals major-league roster for the entire 2005 season so that he would not have to be offered back to the Cubs for $50,000. Sisco posted a 3.11 ERA in his rookie season for the Royals, but after struggling during the by|2006 season, the Royals sent Sisco to AAA affiliate Omaha.
