The AAA World Heavyweight Championship is the highest ranked professional wrestling championship in the Mexican wrestling promotion Asistencia Asesoría y Administración. The championship was created in the latter half of 2007 as a way to clearly indicate which title was the highest ranking title in AAA.

The tournament to crown the first champion included a field of four champions as well as 4 top contenders in a single elimination tournament. The tournament was billed as "Campeon de Campeons” tournament (Champion of champions), the individual titles were on the line in the first round but not in the semi-finals and finals.
