Japan eserailway line of nihongo|Izukyū Corporation|伊豆急行|Izu Kyūkō|"Izu Express" inShizuoka Prefecture . The line runs along the eastern coast of theIzu Peninsula , a tourist district, betweenItō Station in Itō andIzukyū-Shimoda Station in Shimoda. The line opened in 1961.Beside railway business, the company operates resort facilities and
real estate businesses. The official English name, nihongo|Izukyū|伊豆急, is originally an abbreviation of Japanese. The company is a subsidiary of Tōkyū Corporation.Although located close to
Greater Tokyo Area ,PASMO andSuica are not accepted.Basic data
