ARICNS =HD 45350 is an 8th magnitude
star located approximately 160light-year s away in theconstellation of Auriga. It is a yellowsubgiant (spectral type G5 IV), a Sun-like star that is finishinghydrogen fusion in its core. Although slightly cooler, it is brighter, although not much considering its subgiant status. However, the star is very old and will soon start to expand becoming finally ared giant .Planetary system
In
January 2005 , the discovery of a very eccentricextrasolar planet orbiting the star was announced by theCalifornia and Carnegie Planet Search team. [Five New Extrasolar Planets, Geoffrey W. Marcy, R.
