William F. Harvey

William F. Harvey is an American law professor who is Carl M. Gray Professor Emeritus of Advocacy at Indiana University.

He was the Chair of the National Board of the Legal Services Corporation under U.S. President Ronald Reagan. He was on of Reagan's more moderate political appointees, Harvey's predecessor Hillary Rodham, along with the U.S. Senate, having blocked more conservative nominees of Reagan's due to their desire to drastically cut LSC funding.huh He succeeded Hillary Rodham (a Carter appointee) in 1982 after the expiration of her term, after being elected by fellow nominees on March 6, 1982.
