Leo Irakliotis

Leo Irakliotis is a computer scientist at the University of Chicago. He is known for his early work on optical information processing. With Leo Kadanoff he founded the Center for Presentation of Science [http://mps.uchicago.edu/] at the University of Chicago.Irakliotis was born in Greece, c. 1967 and came to the US in 1990 to continue his studies in Physics which he had started at the University of Ioannina. He earned a Master's degree in theoretical physics from Miami University and a PhD degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Colorado State University.
