Simbad=CCDM+J19075%2B323117 Lyrae is a
binary star system in the constellation Lyra, approximately 132light year s away fromEarth . The main star, 17 Lyrae A, is a 5th magnitude white star of thespectral type F0V, meaning it has a surface temperature of about 7,500kelvins . It is adwarf star , like ourSun , yet brighter and hotter. Its companion, 17 Lyrae B, is a 9th magnitude star of an unknown spectral type. There was once thought to be a third star in the system,17 Lyrae C , until it was evident that the star'sparallax andproper motion s were too different for it to be part of the system.
