Oak View Elementary School is a community public elementary school that serves students in kindergarten through sixth grade from Bloomfield, in Essex County, New Jersey, United States, as part of the Bloomfield Public Schools.

As of the 2006-07 school year, Oak View Elementary School had an enrollment of 358 students and 20 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student-teacher ratio of 17.9.[1]

Awards and recognition

During the 2007-08 school year, Oak View Elementary School was recognized with the Blue Ribbon School Award of Excellence by the United States Department of Education,[2][3] the highest award an American school can receive.[4][5]
