Mercedes-Benz International School is situated in Pune, Maharastra, India.
The Mercedes-Benz International School offers the International Baccalaureate program. This program has three parts: the students from kindergarten to 5th grade are in the PYP section, the students from 6th to 10th grade are in the MYP section and the students in the 11th and 12th grade are in the DP section of this program.
There is a hostel provided at the school for both male and female students. At the hostel there are hostel parents who look after the children.
The school has 230 students. The director of the school is Mr. Michael Thompson. The head of upper school is Mrs. Debbie Coomber, the head of PYP is Mrs. Glynnis Bebb and the head of DP is Mr. Terry Swain
The school is a three hour journey along an expressway, from Mumbai, the commercial capital of India. It is located in Hinjawadi, an InfoTech Park in Pune’s urban-rural belt.
Certification
MBIS is authorized and evaluated by the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) to offer the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme. MBIS is accredited by the Council of International Schools.
