Robert Carr (born 1956) is credited as the architect of
GO Corporation 'sPenPoint OS . He was profiled in the book "Programmers at Work" (ISBN 0-914845-71-3), where he was credited as the author of Framework.Robert Carr is mostly known for being the inventor of the Framework integrated office suite. Framework was as best selling PC software package for several years in the mid 1980s and was notable for combining several applications in a seamless environment and the first product to integrate live outlining with word processing.
