Seapine Software is a privately-held, Mason, Ohio-based software and services company whose products address software application lifecycle management and quality assurance. Seapine calls itself the “leader in quality-centric application lifecycle management” and concentrates its marketing efforts towards companies in regulated industries that develop software for internal use, customer facing applications, and/or embedding in devices like cell phones, game consoles, and medical devices.

Products

Seapine’s core products are as follows:

* TestTrack Pro for bug tracking, development workflow, and issue management
* TestTrack TCM for software test case management
* Surround SCM for software configuration management (sometimes referred to as source code management)
* QA Wizard Pro for automated software testing

Seapine’s core products are also available in certain bundles (e.g. TestTrack Studio is a combination of TestTrack Pro and TestTrack TCM and is used for test planning and tracking.) Seapine’s core products are integrated with one another and when used together can form a comprehensive application lifecycle management solution for advanced software development. Seapine also offers software implementation and integration services including data conversion, custom reports, custom test scripts, custom workflows, and training.

History

Seapine was established in 1995 by Rick Riccetti, who saw an opportunity for a Macintosh OS-based bug tracking tool. It occupies 38,000 square feet of office space in Mason, Ohio as its headquarters, development center and data center. Seapine also has offices in Melbourne, Vienna, and London.
