Massimo Cellino (born 1956 in Cagliari) is an Italian entrepreneur and football club owner.
He is the current chairman of Cagliari Calcio after the 1992 takeover from the Orrù brothers, who were the previous club owners.[1] He has served as vice-president for Serie A in the Lega Calcio and is currently a member of the council for Serie A in the Lega Calcio.[2][3]
During his years as Cagliari owner, Cellino was instrumental in the building of Cagliari Calcio's sports centre in Assemini, near Cagliari, named after his father Ercole.[4]
He currently lives in Miami, Florida.[5]
