Baron Wilmot of Selmeston

Baron Wilmot of Selmeston, of Selmeston in the County of Sussex, was a title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom. It was created on 30 January 1950 for John Wilmot, a Labour politician who had been a Member of Parliament (MP) for Fulham East, Kennington and Deptford and Minister of Supply for two years. The barony became extinct on the death of the 1st Baron on 22 July 1964.
