Furfenorex (Frugalan) is a stimulant drug derived from methamphetamine, which was developed in the 1960s and used as an appetite suppressant for the treatment of obesity. "Zeitschrift fur Rechtsmedizin". 1972;70(4):245-50.] and is no longer used, probably due to problems with abuse.
