West Craven area ofPendle ,Lancashire ,England .It is 2.5 miles (4km) south-west of the town of
Barnoldswick and is 4 miles (6.5km) north-east ofPendle Hill .The hill was originally situated in
Yorkshire , but following boundary changes in 1974 it moved into Lancashire.The summit has a Triangulation Pillar and commands views over much of east Lancashire, the north
Ribble Valley , north Aire Valley and theYorkshire Dales .The summit is approximately 247m (810ft) above the local towns of Barnoldswick,
Salterforth ,Earby ,Kelbrook andGisburn .Stock Beck originates from the north face of the summit.
