Medical University of Bahrain

The Medical University of Bahrain (RCSI-MUB) is a constituent university of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. The role of the University is to provide healthcare education and training to world standards in Bahrain, drawing students from Bahrain, the other GCC countries and beyond. Graduates of the medical course will be awarded the MD degree of the University. The standards set down by the World Federation for Medical Education will apply. [1]

Official Name

The university was originally known as the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland - Medical University of Bahrain, (RCSI-MUB), although this older title is being fazed out in favor of RCSI-Bahrain.

Although, currently and for the near future the WHO and FAIMER list will reflect the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland - Medical University of Bahrain name.
