The presence of two different departments under the same roof gives the Bonnefanten Museum its own individual character. The department of old masters is located on the first floor and displays highlights of Flemish
painting from the 16th and 17th centuries. Exhibited on the same floor is theNeuteling s collection, early Italian painting and an entrancing presentation of Maastrichtsilver .Prominent artists of American minimalist art and ItalianArte Povera form the basis of the collection ofcontemporary art on the second floor. The collection is also remarkable for its large ensembles and room-size installations by younger artists.On the third floor, the presentation ‘Forms of Affinity’ concentrates in detail on the oeuvre of Aldo Rossi.External links
