Anabukinchan

Anabukinchan or Anabukin-chan "(Japanese:" _ja. あなぶきんちゃん")" is a young girl who is the mascot of Anabuki Construction Inc. headquartered in Takamatsu, Kagawa, Japan.

The company produced several television commercials featuring her, at least one of which became an Internet phenomenon for a while. This 30-second commercial for an apartment service features Anabukinchan, dressed in red clothes and a peaked cap like Little Red Riding Hood "(Japanese: " _ja. あかずきんちゃん"(Akazukinchan))", meeting several large, anthropomorphic animals (including a rabbit, a bear, a deer, and a wolf) in the forest; she sings and dances with them.

In the final part of the song, a pun is used - the idiom "to expand one's chest", meaning "to look into the future with high hopes", is presented literally, as the animals' breasts (and a tanuki's testicles) enlarge. This seemingly incongruous display of large, fur-covered breasts and genitalia in an advertisement for a construction company is probably what led to the popularity of these commercials in the Internet.
