Kittay House

The Kittay House, named in honor of Sol and Frieda Kittay, is a senior apartment complex located on the 5-acre Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Bronx Campus of the Jewish Home & Hospital LifeCare System. The residence is open to all religions and ethnicities, however, the minimum age requirement is 62.Kittay House was built in 1969 under the Mitchell-Lama Housing Program, an affordable housing initiative in New York state that was signed into law in 1955. Since it's opening in 1970, Kittay House has provided affordable and independent living with support services for Bronx seniors.
