The United States Air Force's 165th Airlift Wing is an airlift unit located at Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport, Georgia.

Mission

History

The 165th Airlift Wing in Savannah flies C-130 cargo aircraft carrying personnel and equipment around the world. In 2005 the unit deployed aircraft and more than 100 personnel to Karshi-Khanabad (K2), Uzbekistan for 11 months.
