McAdams is an unincorporated community in Attala County, Mississippi, United States. It is located southwest of Kosciusko along Mississippi Highway 12.
The community has a school,the community was settle by the McAdams family in 1845.Grew to over 200 of the family. Coming in by 1887,many moved on to Louisiana and Texas by 1898. Joshua Teague McAdams settle in the community with eight of his son and daughters; ,Thomas B McAdams. Martha Hase McAdams,Isaac Detridge McAdams Birth 7 DEC 1831 in Walker,Alabama,Joshua Pratt McAdams, Birth 11 Fed 1834 in Alabama they built churches, the hurricane creek Baptist; the McAdams school which has become [[ the McAdams attendance canter and part of Attala County School District and serves students and serves students in grades seven through twelve.
