Khwaja Kamal-ud-Din was born in Punjab, India, and received his education at the famous
Forman Christian College , Lahore. His grandfather, Abdur Rashid, a famous poet, was at one time chief Muslim Judge of Lahore during the Sikh period. In 1893 he joined the Ahmadiyya Movement and became a close associate ofMirza Ghulam Ahmad , Founder of the Ahmadiyya movement. He served the Movement and the Founder in various leading capacities. Through Mirza’s teaching and influence, the Khwaja was inspired to become a successful lecturer, orator and missionary of Islam, and gave powerful lectures before large multi-faith audiences in many countries.In 1912 he proceeded to
England and laid the foundation of the “Woking Muslim Mission and Literary Trust” [ [http://www.wokingmuslim.org Woking Muslim Mission Website] ] as well as "The Islamic Review".
