Yungtön Dorjepel (Wylie: "gYung-ston(pa) rdo-rje dpal") was born at Gorma (or Gurmo) near
Shalu Monastery , in the province ofTsang , in1284 CE into the family of atantric priest of the Len clan. [Das, Sarat Chandra. He gained a deep understanding of the
Kalachakra under PutönRinpoche . He cultivated the esoteric instructions, particularly the Great Perfection due to the great inspiration of the ThirdPanchen Lama ,Rangjung Dorje .He resided and taught in various places such as
