Australian rules football er who was highly successful in theWest Australian Football League (WAFL) playing for theSwan Districts Football Club ,South Fremantle Football Club andEast Fremantle Football Club .Solin's career began at South Fremantle where he stayed for 5 years yet only played 3 games. Moving to Swan Districts in 1980 Solin joined the formidable side that won ahat-trick ofpremiership s during the 1980s.Playing as a half back flanker for the 1980Grand Final Solin was a one of the best on round and managed to kick two goals in a losing side.In 1982 Solin played on the half back flank again and kicked one goal as part of the premiership team, in the 1983 premiership side Solin lined up at fullback playing onWarren Ralph (who still kicked 3 goals but was still well held).Selected for the WA State Team in 1983 as a part of the team that beat Victoria but lost toSouth Australia .
