HMCS Miramichi (J169)

HMCS "Miramichi" (J169) was a Bangor Class Minesweeper that served in the Royal Canadian Navy during World War II.

The "Miramichi" was of the 1939-1940 construction period, and was the first ship to bear this name. Built by Burrard Dry Dock Co. Ltd., she was commissioned in November 1941 and served in the Royal Canadian Navy until she was paid off 24 October 1945 and sold to the Union Steamship Co. of British Columbia in 1946, as was warship|HMCS|Chignecto|J160 and warship|HMCS|Courtenay|J262.
