- Miss Wisconsin National Teenager
The Miss Wisconsin National Teenager competition is the pageant that selects representatives from the state of
Wisconsin to further compete inAmerica's National Teenager Scholarship Organization pageant which is held yearly in Nashville.America’s National Teenager Scholarship Pageant was founded in 1970 to recognize outstanding young women throughout the country and help them reach their educational goals. Scholarships are awarded to the winners on both the state and national levels based on scholastic achievement, community involvement, leadership qualities and communication skills. The pageant system has awarded more than $125 million in tuition, grants and cash scholarships in its 38-year existence. The program continually awards nearly $5 million annually at the state and national level.
Currently there are four age divisions through the ANTSO program. A preteen division was added last year and is from ages 9-12. The teen competition is split between the junior division from ages 13-15 and the senior division from ages 16-18. This year a miss division from ages 19-25 is being added to be an alternative to other miss programs such as
Miss America andMiss USA . Unlike other miss pageants, this one will not have a swimsuit portion of the program. Along with the standard divisions, the ANTSO program also has the America's National Sweetheart Pageant which provides an opportunity for state runner-ups to compete at a national level.
