Arkansas Anti-Gay Book Ban Bill

Arkansas Anti-Gay Book Ban Bill

Arkansas Anti-Gay Book Ban Bill (2005) would have barred any representation of gay and lesbian people (and presumably bisexual and transgender people as well) in schools, libraries, and state funded universities. It has passed the Arkansas state house, but a tie vote in Arkansas's Senate Education committee failed to bring it to the state senate floor. [http://www.365gay.com/newscon05/02/021705arkBooks.htm]
