"Return to the Web Planet" is a Big Finish Productions audio drama based on the long-running British science fiction television series "Doctor Who". It is free to subscribers of "The Girl Who Never Was".

Plot

The Fifth Doctor and Nyssa attempt to solve an ancient mystery and defeat a malevolent entity on the planet Vortis.

*The story revisits elements from the 1965 serial "The Web Planet".
*Sam Kelly previously played Eugene Tacitus in "The Holy Terror". He was to have appeared in an episode of the 2008 series of "Doctor Who" but he was hit by a car in December 2007, forcing him to pull out.
*Julie Buckfield is the sister of Clare Buckfield who played Sally-Anne in "The One Doctor", Trisha Tomorrow in "Horror of Glam Rock" and Spring-Heeled Sophie in "Dead London".
