"Dance Dance Revolution" is the first game from the "Dance Dance Revolution" series to be released in North America. It is commonly referred to as "DDR US 1st Mix", to distinguish it from other games of the same title, and from the series itself. The arcade game was released by Konami of America sometime in 1999, and is very similar to the Japanese version of "Dance Dance Revolution (video game)". The game features thirteen songs from Dance Dance Revolution and 2ndMix. A home version, also titled "Dance Dance Revolution", was released on the Sony PlayStation in March 2001. It features 26 songs from the first North American DDR and DDR USA, and uses USA's updated interface (which in turn is based on the 3rdMix interface).
