Ryan M. Hanigan (born August 16, 1980 in Washington D.C.) is a catcher for the Cincinnati Reds.

Hanigan made his debut at the end of the mlby|2007 season as a September call up from the Reds' 40-man roster. He debuted on September 9 as a pinch hitter, and recorded his first major league hit in that at-bat. Previously, his 2007 season had been split between time with the Reds Triple-A and Double-A affiliates, the Louisville Bats and the Chattanooga Lookouts. He is the first regular player from Rollins College since Clay Bellinger to appear in the Major Leagues.Fact|2007|date=March 2008 He was called up to the Reds on August 12, mlby|2008.
