Calcium channel

Calcium channel

A Calcium channel is an ion channel which displays selective permeabiltiy to calcium ions. It is sometimes synonymous as voltage-dependent calcium channel, [DorlandsDict|two/000019812|calcium channel] although there are also ligand-gated calcium channels.cite journal |author=Striggow F, Ehrlich BE |title=Ligand-gated calcium channels inside and out |journal=Curr.
