Christo Proykov born March 11, 1946 in Sofia, is currently the Bulgarian Greek Catholic Bishop of Sofia. He was ordained a priest on May 23, 1971, then appointed Coadjutor Bishop of Sofia and Titular Bishop of Briula on 18 December 1993. On 5 September 1995 he became Bishop of Sofia.
