Luis Fernando Pinzón Cancino (born 1975, Bogotá),
Colombian artist, he strives in all his work tocapture the sense of his subjects exposing his ownsensibility through color and textures. His worksincludes abstract and figuratives paintings. His firstcanvas captated an almost absolut abstraction wherethe mature was the craft, the textures, the pencilstroke and -especially- the color, manifested throughlong monochromatic degradations where the abstractionhad hidden already -in that first works- a figurativeremind which afterwards was openly manifested.
Distorted images of a dream which, at the awakingtime, unfolds in stains, colors, textures and profusesensations. The work of Luis Fernando Pinzón advise usabout this double condition between the real and theperceived, between conscious and the onirical, throughthe sensibility which reclaim us the use of the colorand which demand us to recall the images of the past,of the fantasy and of dream.
