Palyul is one of the six mother monasteries of the
Nyingma tradition ofTibetan Buddhism . Founded in 1665 by RigdzenKunzang Sherab , the monastery is the seat of theNam Cho Terma ofTerton Migyur Dorje . His HolinessPenor Rinpoche is the 11th and current throne holder of the Palyul lineage.Palyul Lineage
