Reverb (comics)

Reverb is a fictional comic book supervillain in Marvel Comics' MC2 shared universe, who utilizes a battlesuit with ultrasonic weaponry. He first appeared in "Amazing Spider-Girl" #2.

Fictional Character Biography

Randolph (Also known as "Randy", no last name given) was one of the Hobgoblin's hired muscle. When Spider-Girl began investigating the Hobgoblin's criminal affairs, Randolph was given the armor to stop her. Calling himself "Reverb", he battled Spider-Girl, who eventually defeated by forcing him deep into wet cement, just before his sound blasters went full power. This resulted in a sonic backlash that incapacitated the villain.

Reverb's armor later featured in "ASG" #12. Retrieved from the police evidence room by Peter Parker, it was used to free Spider-Girl's little brother, Ben, and her classmate Moose Mansfield from the Carnage symbiote, which possessed a weakness against sonics.

An illusionary Reverb was later created by Mindworm in "ASG" #15 to battle Spider-Girl.
