Damon Rochefort (born 22 February 1965, Cardiff, Wales) is a Welsh musician, songwriter and writer.
He was born to Barry and Kaye Rochefort.
He has had success in music in the 1990s with his band, Nomad,[1] with the international hits "I Wanna Give you Devotion" and "Just a Groove"; as well as writing and producing hits for Kim Wilde, Bad Boys Inc and Michelle Gayle. He is currently a script writer, starting with several episodes of Birds of a Feather, and is a writer for Coronation Street , writing over 80 episodes to 2010. He is currently developing a raft of shows for TV as well as writing several episodes of ITV's Britannia High.
Rochefort also wrote and presented his own chat show for BBC Wales, the BAFTA-nominated Damon Rochefort Tonight. He lives in London and Somerset.
