Condamine Power Station, Queensland

Queensland Gas Company is building the Condamine Power Station near Miles on the western Darling Downs. Austrian Energy and Siemens have signed a construction contract for the project, which is expected to begin during 2007.

Electricity will be generated by two gas turbines and one steam turbine from coal seam gas.
