Hugh Cabot III

Hugh Cabot, III (March 22, 1930 – May 23, 2005) an American Master painter born in Boston, Massachusetts the son of Hugh Cabot, Jr., an investment banker, and Louise Melenson Cabot.

Hugh Cabot III was the official United States Navy combat artist for the Korean War. His war art hangs in Washington, D.C. and belongs to the nation.

Listed in Who's Who in American Art; Who's Who in International Art; Who's Who in the World; Who's Who in America,Who's Who in the West, his works have been exhibited in most major museums in the world and in every city in the United States.

Hugh Cabot III worked in all media: oil, watercolor, pastels, graphite, charcoal, and he also sculpted.. He lived and worked for 37 years in Tubac, Arizona, where his studio and gallery are located.Prior to Tubac he was in Taos and Santa Fe, New Mexico. His works are sought after by collectors worldwide.

His wife Olivia Cabot continues to operate the gallery in Tubac, Arizona.
