Dennis Boyd (born May 21, 1954 in Portsmouth, Virginia) is a retired American basketball player.

He played collegiately for the University of Detroit Mercy.

He was selected by the New Orleans Jazz in the 4th round (72nd pick overall) of the 1977 NBA Draft.

He played for the Detroit Pistons (1978–79) in the NBA for 4 games.
