Karulai is a small town and panchayath in Nilambur taluk of Malappuram district. It is situated on the banks of Karimpuzha river. Edakkara, Nilambur, Pookkottumpadam and Vaniyambalam ( [http://www.vaniyambalam.co.cc/ www.vaniyambalam.co.cc] ) are the nearest towns.
