There are several
African languages called Gula:Three closely related
Bua languages in southernChad :
*Gula Iro language or Kulaal (3,500 speakers in 1991), around Lake Iro.
* Zan Gula language (4,000 speakers in 1997), around Zan.
* Bon Gula language (>1,200 speakers in 1997), in the villages of Bon and Ibir.Two less closely related Bongo-Baguirmi languages:
* Sara Gula language inChad .
* Tar Gula language in theCentral African Republic andSudan .One Atlantic language:
* Gola language inLiberia "Gula" could also occur as a misspelling of
