Laborie, Saint Lucia

Laborie is a Quarter on the Caribbean island nation of Saint Lucia, and also a village inside that Quarter. According to the 2002 census, the population of the Quarter was 7,414 people. [1] The village of Laborie is located about 27km south of Castries, the nation's capital.Laborie is also the home village of the 7th Prime Minister of Saint Lucia, Dr. Kenny Anthony and first elected Prime Minister of an independent St. Lucia, Sir Allan Louisy and current Governor General, Dame Pearlette Louisy.
