Simon Bayliss

Simon Bayliss played bass for the ska-punk band Spunge before leaving and eventually being replaced by Martin Holt. It is rumoured that he is the inspiration for the song 'Ode 2 Slimy Bassless' on their first album, "Pedigree Chump". He wrote around a half of the songs on this album.

He then went on to record an album with Whippasnappa called Indestructible. This band came to a split in late 2000 and since then he has written hundreds of songs he then sells to other artists.

He has recently joined a new band with former Whippasnappa guitarist Matt Earl aka Heavy Matt Earl ex dangerous babies / whippasnappa and Ex Stampin' Ground Drummer Ade( adrian ) Stokes .
