Mallampet is a village situated at Quthbullapur Mandal, Rangareddy district, Andhra Pradesh, India. It is 2 km from Bachupally, 6 km from Nizampet junction, 10 km away from Kukatpally.

Commercial area
Mallampet is a big village and with recent additions of residential colonies around it, the choice for shopping is very good. It is very close to Kukatpally which is a big shopping hub. Buyyani's family members were used to be the head of the village. Recently a temple was constructed by one of the members of Buyyani's family B.Gopal. There was no rice mill in the surrounding areas in those days. Buyyani's family constructed a rice mill in the year 1990 realising the needs of the farmers but the rice mill was closed recently in 2008 due to lack of agricultural lands due to the development of real estate business in that area.
Outer Ring Road
Main article: Outer Ring RoadThe 159-kilometer Outer Ring Road of Hyderabad is passing through Mallampet. The road work started here and is scheduled to complete by 2010. It is a 6-lane, 500-feet wide road.[1] This has led to growth in real estate activity with many residential and commercial ventures coming up in the vicinity. It will significantly reduce the distance, travel time and access to different parts of the city.
Residential projects
Praneeth Constructions has its gated community by name " Praneeth Homes"project here and around 20 families are living now.Praneeth Developers also completed one apartment consisting of 24 flats( Praneeth Residency) and given for possession. A project "Spring Woods" is under construction under the stewardship of Elevations Nirman with 160 independent houses and state of the art facilities like club house, 24 hrs central water system, RO system etc. Praneeth Developers is also constructing custom homes( Simplex/Duplex/ Triplex) of about 170 in a gated community with all the modern amenities like swimming pool, clubhouse, solarfencing and underground cabling. Houses starting from 27 lakhs up to 1 crore are available in this project.First set of houses will be given for possession by end of 2010.Hi-rise Meadows is another residential project comprises duplex villas count to 220.It has been started some where in 2007 and near completion by now. Nearly 30 families occupied the villas and many are about to in near months.
Schools and Temples
Mallampet is near to lot of good schools and colleges. With schools like Oakridge, Sentia, Kennedy High, Creek and Silver Oaks and colleges like Narayana, Chaitanya and Vignan Jyothi the place is well connected. There is a Veeralingeshwara Swamy Temple in heart of Mallempet Village.
