"Life of Ryan" is a reality [http://www.mediaweek.com/mw/news/cabletv/article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=1003633631 MTV's Finds Life in 'Ryan' ] ] show following the life of pro skateboarder Ryan Sheckler.

The title of the show is a play on "Monty Python's Life of Brian". Each episode is 22 minutes long and follows Ryan, his family, and friends through the various twists and turns of life as a skater. Most episodes are filmed in and around the Sheckler household in San Clemente, California.

The first season primarily deals with the divorce of Ryan's parents; Ryan's attempts to find a girlfriend; relationships with his brothers; and Ryan's attempt to win every stop on the Dew Action Sports Tour.

The second season focuses on Ryan trying to purchase a house, his relationship with girlfriend Kayla, and the break-up of Casey and Taylor. The continuing divorce of Ryan's parents is also dealt with in the first half of the season.

Life of Ryan debuted on Monday, August 27, 2007, at 10:30pm following "The Hills". The Second Season Began January 8, 2008.
