Ryan Edwards

Ryan Louis Edwards, born in 1976, is a soccer coach extraordinaire from South Portland. He currently coaches the number one South Portland High School JV Girl's soccer team. His family consists of wife something or other and two children: daughter Haley and son Brady. Ryan is an active member of the South Portland community. He is inspiration to all that would like to play soccer and succeed at life.

History: Ryan was born an infant. He enjoyed breaking various bones in his body. Such as an elbow injury from a rope swing attack. He also enjoyed chilling with his "friend". His brother Jason was born when he was five and things were never the same in young Ryan's life. He attended Alice E. Sawyer Elementary School and later Memorial Middle School. Until he attended South Portland High School from 1990-1994. Ryan Louis Edwards was on the varsity soccer team which gave him the coaching skills he bears today. During his years as a soccer player, he sustained injuries that withheld him from excelling in his career. It was said, he was going to be the next Mia Hamm, but his dreams were crushed when he hurt his legs. High school passed, and college soon came. As previously stated, Ryan was an active member of the South Portland community. He worked as a counselor at the Recreation Camp where various interesting things occured. Ryan enjoys telling these stories to his team. He sometimes saw one legged sea gulls (and women) and he even once saw a grown man fart in a random child's face.

In conclusion.The life of this great man has been eventful and will continue to be an inspiration to all. Currently, he is coaching the most amazing high school girls you could ever imagine. Lead by the all mighty Kristin Jerome. Although, Kristin is pretty great, Hailey Grohman is the bestest. More to come later!
