Clench appeared in the first issue of the Marvel "" comic.

IDW Publishing

Clench made his first IDW Publishing appearance in the second issue of "". Appearing as the presider of the gladiatorial games, he ordered a hesitant Megatron to finish off his opponent, Cy-Kill. Megatron would later allow Clench to be destroyed in another match, and seize control of the gladiatorial games.
