Unidá

Unidá is an Asturian federation of parties formed by Izquierda Asturiana, militants coming from Andecha Astur , and by the local parties Andecha por Carreño,Asturianistes por Nava and Asturianistes por Piloña, in addition is forming a local series of formation or with the name of Unidá like Unidá-Avilés or Unidá-Uviéu.

This is an asturian nationalistic organization, of Left-wing and ecologist, for the autonomic elections and municipal of May of 2007 appeared more like coalition with another party, Los Verdes-Grupu Verde that would leave the formation months later. The coalition was constituted completely in April 2007. In the same month officially presents their candidate to Asturian Parliament, the recognized writer and doctor psychiatrist Ignaciu Llope.

Also, they mark political line in its programmatic agreement, where was included the defense of asturian, culture and Asturian identity; the fight against the economic and labor crisis that Asturias undergoes, as well as the ecological corruption in certain levels and attacks that think that the present government causes; and, in general, the implantation of a new model of territorial development, from new Statute of Autonomy that supposes an important extension in comparison with the present one, and which they consider essential, in addition to one bets by an option that of continuity to a unit which they think that the Asturian nationalism of left needed years ago. While, in the municipal elections, the coalition, thanks to its local groupings, obtained four councilmen: two in Nava (Asturianistes por Nava), one in Carreño (Andecha por Carreño) and another one in Piloña (IAS-Asturianistes), where a pact of government granted in addition to the formation three councils and the possession to mayorship. These also are the best results never obtained by a political option of this type.
