Cladophoraceae Cladophora sp. Scientific classification Domain: Eukaryota Kingdom: Viridiplantae Phylum: Chlorophyta Class: Ulvophyceae Order: Cladophorales Family: Cladophoraceae Genera In taxonomy, the Cladophoraceae are a family of algae, specifically of the Cladophorales.[1] This family includes notably marimo (A. linnaei), as well as the genus Chaetomorpha which has a few members used in saltwater aquariums.
